iClient for Attorneys - Start Page
From the Start Page you can:
- List all of your entered clients organized by their case category
- List all of your entered clients
- Add a new client
- Show your full schedule spanning over all client
- Connect to a colleague using the iPad's Bluetooth capabilities to share a client's profile instantly
- Backup your client information to a file that you can backup by using the iTunes File Sharing capabilities
- Import client information from a backup file that you or a colleague created. You will need to use iTunes File Sharing to get this file into the app.
- Set a personal security password that will appear whenever the app is opened
iClient for Attorneys - Bluetooth Sharing
When you click the Bluetooth Sharing button you will see this menu appear.
You must first click the Connect via Bluetooth button at the same time your colleague does. From there, follow the messages on the screen to establish a connection.
Once you've established a connection, just click on one of your clients to send all of his or her information to your connected colleague.
At any time you can click Disconnect all Bluetooth Connections to disconnect from your colleagues
iClient for Attorneys - Backup Client Information
When you click the Backup Client Information button you will see this message. The file that is created can be accessed in iTunes and shared with colleagues or saved for your own records.
iClient for Attorneys - Import Client Information
When you click the Import Client Information button you will see this page that will list all of the backup files on your iPad. You can add files to this list by using iTunes file sharing and importing files shared by your colleagues.
When you select a backup file name from the list, all of the clients contained in that file will be imported into your app.
iClient for Attorneys - Set Password Page
From the Set Password Page you can:
- Set your password to a 4 digit combination or change your current password to a new one
- Remove your password if you no longer want to password protect the app
iClient for Attorneys - List All Clients Page
On this page you can see all of your clients that you have entered information for. Simply tap them to see their case(s) that you have entered.
If you ever want to delete a client, just swipe the row for an opportunity to delete him or her.
iClient for Attorneys - List All Clients By Category Page
On this page you can see all of the categories of cases that you have created for clients.
Once you select a folder, you will see a list of all of the clients that have cases in that category (very similar to the List All Clients Page).
iClient for Attorneys - Enter Client Profile Page
On this page you can enter the First Name, Last Name, Address, Phone Number, Email Address, and Icon for a client. You can change this information later in the Edit Profile Page.
iClient for Attorneys - Edit Client Profile Page
On this page you can edit the First Name, Last Name, Address, Phone Number, and Email Address for a client. You can also click the Mail icon to draft an email message to this client.
iClient for Attorneys - Case Details Page
This is the main page that is shown for each case that you are involved with for the selected client.
Here you can enter general information like a Name for the Case, a Category, File Name, and Opposing Counsel.
The other buttons on the page will allow you to enter more information relating to the case such as:
- Intake Form
- Status Checklist
iClient for Attorneys - Case Files Page
This page allows you to link files to the case.
You first need to add the files to the app using iTunes File Sharing. Once the files are in the app, they will appear when you click the 'Link File to this Case' button.
Once you link the file, you can click on it to view it within iClient. If you want to remove the file from the case, just swipe the row (this works on most tables in the app if you want to delete data)
iClient for Attorneys - Case Intake Page
This page allows you to select an Intake Form and enter the relevant data for the client and case.
The app comes with a few templates by default but you can add whatever template you'd like for those templates that you use frequently.
Once you select a template, you can add or delete form elements where ever you would like by using the icons along the left.
If you've changed the form, you can click the button at the top of the screen to save the current form as a new Intake Template for future use.
You also use this page to enter information relevant to the particular case for the client (divorce, estate, etc).
iClient for Attorneys - Status Checklist Page
This page allows you to keep track of the status of the case by offering an easy to use checklist.
You can add a new item by typing in the box at the top of the screen or you can delete items by swiping the row.
Simply tapping the row will toggle the completed status for you.
If you want to send this information to your client or colleagues, just tap the envelope icon to draft an email message with this information.
iClient for Attorneys - Schedule Page
This page allows you to enter a schedule of items for the case. You can also select a Calendar on your iPad to save the Event to your iPad's calendar as well.
You just enter a name for the appointment, when you would like to be reminded, and a date and time to save the entry.
If you click on any of the rows in the table, you can add more details to the appointment. Once again, swiping a row here will let you delete it from the app.
You can also email this information by pressing the envelope icon on this page.
iClient for Attorneys - Case Notes Page
This page allows you to enter notes about the case.
Just enter some text in the box at the top of the screen to create a new note.
If you click on any of the rows in the table, you will see a a popup box with the full note.
Just like the other pages in the app, deleting and emailing works the same way.
iClient for Attorneys - Billing Information
These pages show billing information for your clients.
The main client list pages will now show the balance that each client owes.
This page is accessed from a client's profile page. This page lists each bill that a client has along with the outstanding balance. You can also add a new Bill from this page and easily email this information.
On this page you can enter or update bill payment information. You can enter the total balance for a bill as well the total amount that has been. This page will also allow you to track how the bill was paid.
