iClient for Mental Health Professionals User Guide
From the Home Page you can:
- Add a client
- List all clients
- List all clients with a balance
- Search for a client
- Set the security password
- View full schedule
- Export / Import client information
Add New Client Page
On this page you will enter the basic information about your client. This includes:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Spouse Name
List Clients Page
This page will show you all of your clients. From this page, tap a row to visit the details of this client.
If you'd like to delete a client, just 'swipe' the row to have a Delete button appear.
When you click List All Clients With a Balance, you will see the same screen with only clients that have an unpaid balance to help with billing.
Client Main Page
This is the main page for a specific client. From here you can Edit the Profile, enter Insurance Information, Track Sessions and Payments, Take Progress Notes (Audio & Text), Access Client PDF Files, and Add or View Presenting Problems.
You can associate PDF files with specific Clients by opening them in other apps on your iPad. For example, if you have a PDF in Mail that you want to associate with a Client, hold your finger on the PDF file and an Open With... menu will appear. Choose iClient from the list of apps that appear and you can then add the PDF file to a specific client.
This page appears when adding a new Presenting Problem. You must supply a name and category for the problem.
Once entering the problem, you're presented with the following page that provides more data entry options. On this page, you can add Files and Photos, track Status, Schedule appointments, and add Notes for this specific problem.
The appointments created here will also appear when clicking the Full Schedule button on the Main Page. This is the way to add entries to the Full Schedule.
This shows the Status items that can be tracked. You can add your own entries, delete entries, or reorder the list. Tapping a row will toggle a checkmark so you can track those that you've completed.
This page lets you add appointments to your schedule. You enter a name of your choosing, select the iCalendar to save the appointment to, enter a Reminder, and then select the Date & Time for the appointment to save this to both iClient and iCalendar on your iPad.
Selecting an appointment will let you add more details such as a location and notes.
Sessions & Payment
This page appears when you click Sessions & Payment. You can view existing sessions and add new sessions here.
On this page you enter all relevant session information such as Date of the Session, Diagnosis Code, Cost of the Session, Amount Paid and Date Paid.
You can associate PDF files with Sessions by opening them in other apps on your iPad. For example, if you have a PDF in Mail that you want to associate with a Session, hold your finger on the PDF file and an Open With... menu will appear. Choose iClient from the list of apps that appear and you can then add the PDF file to a specific session.
This is the Progress Notes page. Here you can voice record during sessions or add textual notes for tracking progress.
Full Schedule Page
This page shows all of the appointments that you've made from all of the Presenting Problems. To add to this, you must add an Apppointment to a specific client and a specific Presenting Problem.
